Barracuda Field, OML 141, Bayelsa State – October 31, 2025:  Eastlake Exploration and Production Limited (“Eastlake”) in conjunction with OML 141 Asset Operator – Emerald Energy Resources Limited (“Emerald”) has commenced the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Barracuda field in preparation for field development of the Asset.  With the support of Environmental Management Consultant – Jenneoby Environmental and Laboratory Services Ltd the following were successfully concluded at the wet season phase.

•  Scoping workshop with the participation of the Host communities 

•  Site Verification

•  Baseline Data Gathering and Sample collection

Eastlake appreciates the support of all relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies (Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission – NUPRC and the Federal & State Ministries of Environment) in achieving this success. Accordingly, Eastlake will commence the planning and implementation of the dry season requirements as soon as dry season window opens.
