The Eastlake Gas and Power Ltd recently welcomed two representatives from its Gas Development Technical Partners, FornovoGas and Hexagon Agility to its Lagos office for high-level discussions focused on strategic collaboration towards the development and delivery of a world-class gas mother station infrastructure project.
The visit amplified key technical and commercial discussions in a bid to explore and engender its gas development programme from its OML 96 Ovia Field cooperation with Dubri Oil Ltd, across gas processing, compression technologies, transportation solutions, and integrated gas infrastructure development.
Discussions centred on leveraging global expertise and innovative technologies to support the expansion of Nigeria’s gas value chain and accelerate access to cleaner and more efficient energy solutions.
The engagement forms part of the Eastlake Gas and Power broader strategy to strengthen partnerships with leading international technology providers and infrastructure specialists capable of supporting the company’s long-term vision within Nigeria’s evolving gas sector.
The proposed collaboration seeks to combine Eastlake’s understanding of local energy market dynamics with the proven engineering and technology capabilities of FornovoGas and Hexagon Agility. The parties explored pathways for developing a modern mother station designed to meet international standards for safety, operational efficiency, scalability, and sustainability.
