Ovia, Edo State – October 28, 2024: Eastlake Exploration and Production Limited (“Eastlake”) in conjunction with OML 96 Asset Operator – Dubri Oil Company Limited (“DOCL”) has commenced the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the Ovia field in preparation for mobilization of drilling and production of hydrocarbons from the field. With the support of a renowned Environmental Management Consultant – Jenneo by Environmental and Laboratory Services Ltd the following were successfully concluded at the wet season phase.

Subsequently, Eastlake has commenced the planning and implementation of the dry season requirements as we work together with all relevant stakeholders and regulatory bodies to achieve success.
